Agent Guidelines: Ki-Story Project
This document provides critical instructions for AI agents operating within this project to ensure consistency in style, technical accuracy, and narrative quality.
1. Narrative Style & Prose
Whenever generating or editing story scenes, the prose skill MUST be activated and applied.
- Goal: Grounded, emotionally resonant narrative that focuses on sensory details and natural interactions.
- Avoid: Abstract adjectives, psychological distance, and "corporate/case study" tones.
- Focus: Show, don't tell. Use physical reactions and immediate internal sensations instead of clinical psychological analysis.
2. Technical File Operations
To prevent tool failures and file system inconsistencies, always double-check the file paths used in tool calls.
- Ensure the path is absolute or correctly relative to the current working directory.
- Pay close attention to the
pathproperty inwrite,edit, andreadcalls.
3. Pacing and Scene Length
Scenes should not be treated as mere plot transitions. They must be allowed to breathe.
- Length Reference: A new scene should be about 1500 words in length at minimum.
- Guideline: New scenes should be comprehensive and detailed. If in doubt, err on the side of longer, more descriptive scenes rather than shorter, summarized ones.
- Detailing: Elaborate on quiet moments, internal reflections, and sensory grounding to create an immersive experience.
